Welcome to the world of racehorse ownership

Lucky Bin Racing was formed in 2009 by a group of work colleagues who all had an interest in racing. For all of us this was the first time we had actually owned a racehorse and this site is intended to give an insight in to the ups and downs of National Hunt Racing from an owners perspective. The name of the syndicate was inspired by a certain waste receptacle at Cheltenham racecourse. At the festival, and other meetings, you will often find us outside the Arkle Bar near the winning post religiously touching the “Lucky Bin” that we stood by a few years ago and backed several winners!
There are sections on the horses we own, the syndicate members, our trainer(s), a word about our sponsors, a link to all the stats and a blog covering some of the highlights (and lowlights) of racehorse ownership.   Our stated aim is to win the Gold Cup (or Champion Hurdle) at Cheltenham in 2015. The site is regularly updated and we hope provides some entertainment and enlightenment and encourages others with more money than sense to take the plunge because there is nothing quite like watching your horse pass the post as a winner!.
